AFTON LIGHT

Afton is a sound artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. His work revolves around creating sounds from unusual and non-traditional sources as he blends electronic music with field recordings and traditional instruments. Since 2021 he has released seven musical projects, two of which have been full-length albums. He works to blend many genres to achieve more and more complex compositions. His versatility is why we decided to begin supporting Afton in 2022. Since working with SAMLA he has released three musical works and has no intentions of slowing down. 

A SONIC SLICE OF LIFE

A Sonic Slice of Life is a sound design project reworking memories in sonic form while only using the original audio source as trigger for all additional sounds. It is a project that keeps evolving with the artists involved. In 2022 A Sonic Slice of Life released four separate tracks and rumour has it that there are more tracks in the works.
